"The Mares of Sequoyah Ranch"

Sherara Al Badeia

aka ( Stinker )

Straight Egyptian / Al Khamsa / Blue List

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shera as we call her is our 1997 filly out of Kalila, sired by Fakhr. She is just gorgeous. She's full of energy and loves to run the hillsides. Shera has a very inquisitive attitude and wants to know what's going on at all times. She also loves to mimic her father Fakhr. Everything he does she tries to do, and usually will accomplish just that.

I will miss her dearly.......

Kbn Princess

aka ( sweetheart )

Polish / Crabbet

------------------------------------------------------------------

Princess is our Arabian sweetheart. Although last in the pecking order, she's tops with us. Princess also is 17 years old . She likes to go off by herself and enjoy the peace and quiet sometimes, although the other girls always seem to find her. Princess was our first Arabian horse, I just fell in love with her. She was the most gentle horse I'd ever seen, And still is today.

She will always have a place in my heart and I will never forget the loving nature of this beautiful mare.

HIA Serah

aka ( little lady )

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Our newest addition to the ranch, Serah has come to us from Javera Bedouin Arabians in Chino Valley, AZ. This will be Fakhr's new lady and we hope she will be with us for many years. Many thanks to Janet and Mark Chiesna for the opportunity to purchase this little lady.

Betsy Sundown

aka ( Big Mama )

Tennessee Walking Horse

----------------------------------------------------------------------

A Big mama compared to the Arabians, but she has the heart of an angel. Betsy is the only Walking horse we have, although we did raise two of her foals which were sold to good homes. Betsy will is 19 years old, and is the boss of the heard. I am the only one she doesn't boss.

To me she gives bear hugs. Have you ever been bear hugged by a horse? It's quite an experience, one that you'll remember.
