The Ranch Profile

Sequoyah Ranch is a small horse ranch nestled in the rolling hills of Kentucky, with all the convenience to down right spoil our horses.

Our horses get all the attention that most people give to their children. As for us, we think of these horses as they are our children, and treat them as such. We love and pamper them, in return they love and trust us.

Although we work hard to keep these babies happy and healthy, we don't mind. Our love for horses goes back a long way. Ever since we were both very young we had a deep love for this magnificence animal they call Horse. Their beauty and intelligence shows in every step they take, and you can see that they are truly a precious gift sent from the Gods.

" When God created the horse, He said, I have made Thee unlike any other. All the treasures of the earth lie between Thine eyes. Thou shalt cast mine enemies between Thy hooves, but Thou shalt carry my friends on Thy back. This shall be the seat from which prayers rise unto me. Thou shalt find happiness all over the earth and Thou shalt be favored above all other creatures, for to Thee shall accure the love of the Master of the Earth. Thou shalt fly without wings and conquer without swords."

Well as you gazed through these pictures of our horses you can see how happy they are. "They are happy", because we give them lots of love and attention. We have been told by many people that these are just horses, and that we do to much work to pamper them. In their opinion maybe so, but as long as we are alive we will continue to love and pamper these babies.

We feel blessed to have these horses, and they tell us how much they love and trust us every day, with a nay here, and a hug there. There's no truer love than what you receive from an animal that loves you. They are God's gift to us to love, cherish, and admire.

So the next time you see one of these magnificence animals, look into his or her great big eyes and see all the love they have to give. Given the chance. And then give them a great big hug.
